For whatever reason I decided to experiment with matte top coat and glitter. I tried a few options and I have to say I really like the 3D effect. Matte top coat in general is amazing! I love how different your nails look and how soft they are to touch. But do I want to go matte for Christmas? What about the usual glitz, shine and sparkle stuff? Well I thought about it, tried matte, saw the effect and decided: sod it! So I give to you a very rebellious matte Crimbo nails.
The colours I used were Collection 18 Going for Gold, Barry M. Lychee and Miss Sporty 080. I like the black varnish consistency and application but I don't think it's particularly good for stamping. It's not very opaque so to stamp my Christmas jumper design I used BeautyUK no.6 and MoYou Festive Collection 06. The gold design is from the same stamping plate. Basically all I had to do was paint my nails, stamp the patterns and finish off with a top coat. That's it! The matte top coat I'm using is from Barry M. Happy painting!
