Bonkers

I honestly don't know what came over me when I was doing this design. I didn't have anything in mind, I just knew what colours I wanted to use and started doodling away! The thing with colourful, in your face kind of nails is that they're awesome...on someone else! I love this design, but maybe because it's so different, I feel a bit self-conscious wearing it. But what the hell, it's summer so I'm rocking these!

To create the two coloured nails I applied Deni Carte 106 and added Ciate Hidden Gem with a striping brush. Now for the fun part! I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Babe Blue. I added all sorts of shapes with a striping brush and dotting tool: triangles, squares, dots, whatever I felt like painting. I sealed everything with a coat of Glisten&Glow which I've been using for a while now and I love it!

This design has a sort of 80's vibe I think and I now wish I did it with neons. Actually, I only own, like, two...so perhaps not. What do you think? A bit too bonkers or are you into vibrant designs? Xx
