Mani Swap

Ah the dreaded flowers! I can't tell you how many times I failed at this design. If you don't believe me, have a look at any of my feeds. You will find exactly ONE decent floral design. It won't surprise you then, that when the awesome @Nailmachine asked me to do a mani swap with her, I chose to recreate one of her floral manicures. I think I just love making life harder for myself!

This is one of those delicate designs that I love the most. The fact that there was virtually no shading involved kind of made me think I could pull this off. I'm not saying it's perfect but this is probably the best floral mani I've ever done so I am damn proud of myself!

I used mainly striping and detail brushes and there was lots of trial and error but I got there in the end! The base is Collection French White 1 and for the flowers I used Nails Inc Marylebone High Street (which I reviewed here), Nails Inc Queen Victoria Street and Golden Rose Rich Color 70. To see my other flower design check out this post.

To see the original check out Kimberlyn's insta page and show her some love! What do you think? Any tips for floral manicures?
