Practical ideas: nail polish storage

nail polish box nail polish storage

This post is created with people like me in mind, who can't dedicate a whole room or half a room or even one corner to our nail polish stash. What if you only have, say, one shelf? How do you store a ton of polish there?! Well I found a solution that really suits me and the tiny one bedroom flat I live in. I saved so much space my boyfriend and I can actually move freely around the house, imagine that!

Nautical nails!

nautical nail sailor marine nail art

I'm not sure if we are allowed multiple entries to MoYou London contest on Instagram but hey, I'm submitting another one! This time I was inspired by the girl from the Sailor collection. If you're not sure what I am talking about check out my previous post for all the info!

The artist within

splashes swirls MoYou London nail art

I thought today I'd show you my entry for the MoYou London competition on Instagram. Basically what you need to do is create nail art that is inspired by one of their pin ups and you have to use their plates in some way. It finishes this Sunday so you still have time to enter! I had a ton of ideas but unfortunately no right plates to make my visions come true. Eventually, after some serious brainstorming I chose to recreate the girl from the artist plate.

Confetti

The inspiration behind this design were those colourful decorations that you put on cakes. Then I thought of gradient, then pastels and this is the result, a mishmash!

Something sweet featuring BPS pearls review

I was super lucky when I went to my local Superdrug recently! They had a clearance section and most of it was nails stuff, yay! I obviously stocked up on all sorts because quite frankly no matter how many wraps, studs and stickers I may have, how can I not buy more if they are freaking 49p?! This is where I got the rhinestones that I used for this manicure. I also used a few different sizes of pearls* from bornprettystore.com.

Skittles

I have seriously broadened my horizons recently! I mean neons? Not really my thing, I always imagined they would be streaky, too 'in your face' kind of shades, not to mention I cannot be bothered with a white base! However I went to my local Superdrug and spotted a 3 for £5 deal on Miss Sporty polishes and thought...why not? :D

Swirls, swirls everywhere!

nail stickers ruffian maroon glitter bornprettystore

Everywhere I look I see these swirls people create with nail stencils. I mean they are pretty cool right? I however don't have any stencils nor do I have the patience today to hand paint them! What I do have is a massive sheet of nail stickers* that I accidentally took out of my stash this morning. Well, it's not the same but at least it's stress free, get in!

Sun's out guns out

summer, bright, ombre, studs, stripes

I got this Essence The Gel nail polish ( 25 Prince Charming) because the colour is gorgeous and I was missing something like that in my collection. It's so summery and the weather back home is seriously hot so I thought, why not a holiday design, eh?
