31 Day Challenge: Yellow Nails

Yellow prompt turned out to be not much better than yesterday's orange one. Not because I don't like yellow but because I did a destash about a week ago and, you guessed it, I apparently got rid of most of my yellow polishes. Perfect.

I had to work with what I got so I decided to use Ciate Loop the Loop as my base. It got me thinking, does anyone else feel like Ciate's mini bottles drive them insane? Or is it just me? They are very rectangular (as in wider than they are taller) and it's impossible to get the polish out once you get about half way though the bottle. I'm not sure if that's the problem with their regular size bottles as I don't own any.

Upon realising that this polish required 3 coats to be opaque I decided that all I could deal with was a simple stamp. This one is from MoYou London Fashionista 07 plate. I also used their White Knight stamping polish and a Clear Jelly Stamper* featured in the Hitched MeeBox. I topped the design with a layer of Barry M Matte top coat.

How do you think this one compares to my design from last year? Yeah, I thought so. The good news is that I own a staggering amount of green shades so pop back tomorrow to see if I come up with something decent for the green prompt. See you then!

  1. I couldn't destash my beloved polishes, how did you do that?

    1. I just have so many, I feel bad that I don't use some of the 'old ones' so I force myself to do it every now and then!

  2. Aw, I really like this design. I like how delicate it is, with the white on the yellow and the delicate stamping pattern. It reminds me of like a China teacup.

    1. Ah thank you, I think the whole faffing about with the polish just made me dislike the design a bit!
