31 Day Challenge: AW16 Florals

A lot of people would agree that flowers in nail art are most popular in spring and summer, which sadly are over now. So I had this cunning plan to practice from now until spring and be totally awesome at painting flowers by the time the weather gets warm again! It was such a perfect plan...until I realised that florals are apparently IN this autumn/winter season.

In today's 31 Day Challenge we take inspiration from fashion and I happen to love this Mango floral bomber jacket so I had to cut my practice short. Down to one, to be precise. As my base I used the stunning Nails Inc Old Burlington Street*. I free handed everything using my Uber Chic detail brush.

Now this is serious, what do you think about it? Since florals are my nail art nemesis you might ask yourself, why do I bother?! Well, for that exact reason, I can't do it and it annoys me. But hey, did you know practice makes perfect? And a *tiny bit* annoyed? Questioning your decision making? (cue I'm never getting this hour of my life back!) No? Well now you do. So I might practice a bit more but don't expect florals in abundance come spring!
