This is one of those quick I'm-out-the-door-in-five kind of designs. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I liked it when I made it. It was delicate but 'gloomy', does that make sense? I think it works well as an Autumn design. However as I'm writing this I am in the most beautiful place on the planet and erm, Autumn-who? I've done these a few days before my trip. If you follow me on Instagram then you know I'm currently in New Zealand and although it's not been too warm so far the views are compensating BIG TIME. Also it's surprising how productive you can be during 12 hours long flights/waiting for your boyfriend to hire the car...
Leafing Halloween Alone!
I only need to look at my feed on any social media to know that the nail community is obsessed with Halloween this month. I see Halloween manis everywhere but I have to admit they are pretty awesome and it's hard not to be inspired. At the same time I've already done 2 festive designs and wasn't really feeling it again. I'm kind of into gradients these days so I decided to have a go at this beige-to-burgundy one that doesn't scream Halloween at all...
MoYou Halloween Contest: Forest Fright
Let me start by saying that when I bought my recent MoYou London Enchanted plate, I had a COMPLETELY different vision on how to use it. It all revolved around cuteness, soft pastel shades and lots of matte top coat. But then I spotted a 'Cute Halloween' contest...
There was no way I could say no to that! The competition is hosted by MoYou London and the idea behind it is simple: create nail art that's Halloweeny but cute. And let's face it, what can be cuter than tiny, fluffy forest friends? Exactly.
Autumn Leaves
You know, sometimes it's nice to break from the usual. I was prepared to hide my bright polishes away until next summer but then I thought to myself: why? What, because Autumn started? Well I fancy bright, red and sparkly nails so I'll have bright, red and sparkly nails, dammit! Whatever the season.
September Nailbox Review
It's October and you know what that means, Halloween is shoved in your face everywhere you go! I thought it'd be a good idea to carve a pumpkin this year because (prepare yourself) I've only done it ONCE before. Of course all the pumpkins are already gone in my local Morrisons. I mean, seriously people, it's still like another 3 weeks to go!
Party Animal
Have you noticed all the awesome nail art competitions going on this month? I mean seriously there are so many and I want to take part in all of them. I can't of course, because after the 31 Day Challenge I need a breather!
31 Day Challenge: Honour nails you love
I can't believe that the 31 Day Challenge is almost over! Although I had my ups and downs during this challenge l actually really enjoyed it! I'm not going to lie though, I'm looking forward to having my life back!
