Christmas Time!

It's December and I hope it's acceptable to talk christmas stuff. I mean I'm sure coca-cola adverts were aired like 2 weeks ago and we all know what THAT means! I've been dying to do christmas nails for ages so I'm buzzing. I have a whole month of crimbo nails coming up for you so hope you are as excided as I am! 

First up are my christmas jumper inspired nails:

To create the 'jumper' design I used my lovely MoYou London Festive 06 stamping plate. The varnish I used was Barry M Matt White. The 3 stars pattern is not actually on the plate. I applied the stars separately from one of the designs on the same stamping plate. Before I did my ombre design I painted my nails with Nails Inc. Tate and waited for them to dry completely. Once I had that base I think it was easier to use ombre technique and to make the layers blend in together better. The 2 varnishes I used were Nails Inc. Tate and Collection 15 Tropical Pink. Just make sure you blend the two together nicely where the layers meet to get that nice gradient design. Merry Christmas!
