That means snow, cold and cute wintery designs. Well there's no snow, it's 10°C in December...I guess it's just wintery design then so we don't forget what winter should or used to look like in mid latitudes. I decided to go for snow and some not so mid latitudes penguins. So maybe not your typical winter sights, definitely not the penguins but cute none the less.
To create penguins I used Maybelline 20 Uptown Blue, Barry M Matt White, Collection 15 Tropical Pink and Miss Sporty 080. Paint your nails with 2 coats of Maybelline then using white polish create 'a tummy' and eyes just above it. Using dotting tool add 2 black dots for the eyes and create legs and beak with Collection 15 Tropical Pink. I find that using dotting tool when creating the legs and beak was easier then using a brush, but see what works best for you! To create snow effect I painted my nails with 2 coats of Barry M Matt White then created dots using a dotting tool. You can either use different sized dotting tools or apply different pressure when making dots with just one tool to create different sized dots. The colours I used were Collection 6 Blue Belle, Barry M Matt White, Barry M Lychee, Rimmel 20 Uptown Blue, H&M Gold and CiateFit for a Queen. Happy painting!
