Vintage Valentine's

Let's face it, everyone's rocking the Valentine's design right now. Since I went for crazy in my last post, this time I decided to go for the cutest, sweetest, sickliest Valentine's design I'm capable of! I absolutely love lace and wanted to incorporate it into my nails for ages and Valentine's seems like a good idea, so here it is!

What I used:
Maybelline Colorshow Winter Baby
Maybelline Colorshow Nebline
Rimmel 873 Breakfast in Bed
Orly Harmonious Mess
Deni Carte 38
MoYou Bridal Collection 07

I feel like I have neglected the colours I used in this mani for way too long. In fact long enough for them to go dry! How annoying is that?! Luckily at 9.40pm I remembered they sell Maybelline in my local Morrisons^^.

On my middle finger I used Maybelline Colorshow Winter Baby as a base. I then created heart shapes using a dotting tool, Maybelline Colorshow Nebline, Rimmel 873 Breakfast in Bed and Orly Harmonious Mess.  On my ring finger I'm using Rimmel 873 Breakfast in Bed as a base and Maybelline Colorshow Winter Baby to create the hearts. This is my favourite white by far! I like how it made the hearts look soft and delicate.

I haven't done a negative space design in ages and there is a good reason for that. I choose not to have a nervous breakdown! Last time I did it I was very new to nail art AND I used glitter that went absolutely everywhere! However this time round my skills have somewhat improved and it actually wasn't so bad! So to create this design I used a stamp from MoYou Bridal Collection 07,  Deni Carte 38 and an ear bud to remove the excess varnish. I added a white line with a detail brush just because I like it to look neat. I hope you like it!
