A England Heavenly Layers: Nail Art And Review

I've had this trio sitting on my shelf for a few weeks now and I finally found some time to try it out. This is one of A England's Harmonies Collection - Heavenly Layers. The trio includes one sheer polish, one bottle packed with gold flecks and, my personal favourite, pink and gold glitter bomb. Today I thought I'll show you how I incorporated them into my designs as opposed to just simple swatches. There are three designs in total so let's get started!

First up is 'And The Moonbeams...' which is a yellow tone glitter suspended in a clear base. I sponged it on and I was so impressed by how opaque it looked. I'm not wearing any colour underneath. I love the crackled effect, it looks like foil but without the pain of application! I was going to go all out with this design but I decided against it in the end. I love the simple look of gold and white dots!

This is the first time I properly attempted a pond mani and I just love how it turned out! This technique was new to me and I wasn't too sure if it would work using a sheer polish. I usually see this kind of design done with a jelly polish. I think it worked great though! I used 'Hurt No Living Thing' which is a sheer polish that shifts from grey to pink. It didn't leave any patches or smudges which I often experience with sheer or jelly polishes.

I applied flower stamps from MoYou London Tropical 01 plate and one layer of the sheer polish on top. I repeated the process three times and finished off with a top coat. You can also use this polish as a topper but I love the delicate layered look.

Now this next one is a real show stopper! 'She Walks In Beauty' is PACKED with large and small glitter pieces that shift from light pink to rose gold. It's very opaque so there really was no need for a sponge. I created the glitter design just by dabbing the polish at the tips of my nails. As a base I used  A England 'Elaine'* that I found in my January MeeBox* (reviewed here).

The Harmonies Collection is a perfect way to try your favourite A England colours for less. I am absolutely in love with my trio and all A England polishes in general. I love how every polish has a story behind it. It's so different!

What do you think about my designs? Have you ever tried A England before?
