The Christmas tree is gone, the decorations are packed away and there is finally some room in the fridge. It's official, Christmas is over! To be perfectly honest with you I'm looking forward to the change of colours and designs. And to my waist getting back to normal.

I'm daring to go nude!

Yes, I totally stole that line from a recent make up advert! Nude colours are not really my thing but recently I bought Golden Rose Color Expert 101 and I really wanted to use it. It's so creamy and gorgeous. I was going to leave it as a swatch but then I thought...naaah, I need to add something! I decided on MoYou London stamp and these delicate triangles* from bornprettystore.com.

The artist within

I thought today I'd show you my entry for the MoYou London competition on Instagram. Basically what you need to do is create nail art that is inspired by one of their pin ups and you have to use their plates in some way. It finishes this Sunday so you still have time to enter! I had a ton of ideas but unfortunately no right plates to make my visions come true. Eventually, after some serious brainstorming I chose to recreate the girl from the artist plate.

Marvel at marble

I don't like marble. I know it's expensive and sleek and blah blah but to me it feels cold and uninviting. So to warm it up a bit I added some yellow and orange. I know what you're thinking, how's this a marble? Where are the typical white/grey/black shades? Well turns out there IS in fact a marble that looks (more or less) like this:
