MeeBox Blackberry Margarita: Nail Art

A few posts back I reviewed this month's MeeBox*, a subscription box dedicated to nails only for all you nail addicts. The polishes were such a pleasure to work with I used them to create a few different designs and I love them all! Have a look at the review to see what polishes I'll be using. It's cool, I'll just wait here;) Done it? Aren't they all gorge? Let's have a look at the designs then!

The theme this month is Blackberry Margarita so I thought I would take it literally and paint some blackberries! I created these on my Uber Chic mat using A England 'Elaine'* and a dotting tool. I added some leaves with NuBar Nail Art Brush in 'Neon Lime'*. There are only two blackberries because I couldn't bring myself to cover the gorgeous holo polish ('Ard as Nails 'Little Legs'). Surely, you can't blame me!

Next I decided to do a bit of stamping using Bundle Monster Shangri-La plates I got for Christmas. I wanted this collection ever since I saw Paulina's Passions review. I can't believe it took me over a month to try them out! Tut tut. This time I used A England 'Elaine'* as my base and two layers of Models Own 'Pink Paradise'* on top.


When I finished this design I realised that it looks very similar to the nail art Lucy's Stash has created recently. But hey, if your designs look ANYTHING like Lucy's, it can't be a bad thing!

Finally, I created a decal using MoYou London Artist 04 stamping plate. Yes, you read that correctly, a decal, me!? The thing is, all the polishes that I found in MeeBox* were really opaque so they did make my job a lot easier.  I think this one is my favourite! It's so vibrant!
