31 Day Challenge: Stone Inspired Water Marble
I don't do water marble very often, but when I do, you bet it's going to be stone inspired! One of the reasons I love this technique is because you can tweak the pattern until you're happy with it. Yeah, that's about it. The rest is a nightmare which is just what everybody expects from water marble!
31 Day Challenge: Red Nails
It's the first of September today and it's a special date in my calendar, it's the start of the 31 Day Challenge! Have you heard of it? It's basically a month where you give up social life and there are *possibly* some occasional tears, comfort chocolate eating and 'it will do' attitude involved. Jokes aside, this challenge is great for pushing yourself and getting out of your comfort zone for an entire month. If you want to find out more about it, there's more info at the end of this post.
Guest post for Nail Polish Society
Exciting news! I have done my first guest post and it's for none other than Emiline behind Nail Polish Society! Emiline is taking it easy with blogging this month and me along with a bunch of talented ladies produced a few posts while she enjoys her time off. I created this mandala inspired design with the polishes of one of my favourite indie brands. You can find my blog post HERE.
I'll be back tomorrow with this month's MeeBox review. See you then! Xx
Splash MeeBox | Swatches, Nail Art and Review
You know that feeling when you um, have a feeling? As soon as I heard that this month's MeeBox was going to feature 'a UK indie brand that is inspired by history and magic' I was pretty sure there was only one company that could fit that description...Hands up who guessed the Splash MeeBox would be filled with A England goodies?! And that's not all! As this month's MeeBox was inspired by mermaids, there are a few more treats to go with the theme. Ah, aren't we lucky this month?

England Collection, Russian Soul. Say hello to Katyusha*!
A England Russian Soul Collection | Natasha's Dance War & Peace
Ever since I discovered a black holo that featured in the Rihanna inspired MeeBox* I have been a tad obsessed. So imagine my delight when a dark holographic polish turned out to be one of the shades in A England's newest collection, Russian Soul! I'm talking about the gorgeous Natasha's Dance War & Peace*.
A England Russian Soul Collection | Kalinka
A new collection from A England is here and boy, it doesn't disappoint! Russian Soul Collection features a set of '5 holographic shades that are inspired by Russian music and dance'. It is such a luxurious range and I am absolutely in love with all the colours. I decided that I will be showcasing one polish on the blog everyday so prepare yourself for the amount of holo that's coming your way! We're starting off with Kalinka*.
BPS | Qgirl-057 Stamping Plate
Today I want to share with you my thoughts on the Qgirl-057 stamping plate* I have recently received from Bornprettystore.com. There are four designs on the plate, two delicate florals and two slightly more crowded damask patterns. I don't actually own any plates with subtle patterns so I was really excited to try this one out. Although the round plates are usually quite small, all four stamps were big enough to cover my long nails.
A England Heavenly Layers: Nail Art And Review
I've had this trio sitting on my shelf for a few weeks now and I finally found some time to try it out. This is one of A England's Harmonies Collection - Heavenly Layers. The trio includes one sheer polish, one bottle packed with gold flecks and, my personal favourite, pink and gold glitter bomb. Today I thought I'll show you how I incorporated them into my designs as opposed to just simple swatches. There are three designs in total so let's get started!
MeeBox Review: Blackberry Margarita
There goes my dry January! You can't blame me though. When the MeeBox* girls contacted me about reviewing this month's box I knew I had to do it. Based on the previous launches I've been following every month, I'd be crazy to refuse! This month the theme is Blackberry Margarita, think a slice of lime, blackberry and a rim of salt...in a polish form. Come on guys, use your imagination! No? Ok then let me help you out. Is this picture doing it for you?
