31 Day Challenge: B&W Galaxy Nails

Did you know that this is the second time I've taken part in the 31 Day challenge? It's also the second time I've struggled with this prompt. I mean, galaxy doesn't sound that complicated, does it? No, but I had the clever idea of creating JUPITER. Yep, I even planned to include the massive storm on its surface...ha...hahhaah...hahah...HA! (That's a fake laugh, btw)

I was looking forward to today's prompt because black and white combos are some of my favourite in the nail art world. There's just something very sophisticated about them. I then went ahead and added a bit of bright green. Rules? Pfft, what rules?!

Tribal Design Featuring BPS Water Decals

It's been a bit quiet here recently but trust me when I say I've not been doing sweet bugger all! I have been playing around with water decals because I am absolutely obsessed! I think a lot of girls find them boring but I found that it's ridiculous just how many looks you can create with even the simplest water decals. Today I'd like to show you a mani swap I've done with Lisa ( ig: @nailpolisa). We were talking about doing this for ages and we finally made it happen. You know what it's like, we all have stuff going on and then during Christmas everything just gets crazy. Basically, life just gets in the way of painting nails! Tut tut.

31 Day Challenge: Inspired by a song

Fun fact! When I was a teenager I was obsessed with Nirvana. I had tops with Kurt Cobain on them and all the CDs I could get my hands on. CDs?! Jeez, now I feel old! One of the songs I loved was Heart-Shaped Box and it was my inspo for today's 31 Day Challenge 'Inspired by a song'.

31 Day Challenge: Animal Print

For today's #31DC2015 I prepared something simple, a delicate (snow) leopard print. I had this idea of white-silver-grey animal print brewing in my head for a while. I tried a few different colour options but it just didn't work for me. I wanted it to be really soft. Unfortunatelly, I own only one grey polish so I had to get a bit crafty!

31 Day Challenge: B&W

At first, these nails were meant to be just white with a black stamp. I knew I'd like them because I did the exact same design on my aunt's nails a few day ago. But then l started sorting out all my polishes, because frankly they were getting out of control, and spotted an OPI Sheer Tint I've never used. I always wanted to try this range but found it a bit pricey, until I spotted one at TKMaxx for £2.99 (bargain or what?!) and it got me thinking...

I have a sweet (hounds)tooth

You know, sometimes I forget that a design doesn't have to be super complicated to be interesting. I was rummaging through my stamping plates and found this beauty. Why I have never used this houndstooth stamp before I don't know. I've had it for ages!

Vintage florals featuring BPS water decals sheet

I am so excited to show you my floral vintage design, I feel like it's one of those I'm never going to want to take off. Well, for a few days anyway! The flower water decals really make this design pop and were so easy to use.
