I was really struggling to pick the right shade for today's challenge as I have an obscene amount of blue polishes. Still, there are worse problems, I guess!
Eventually I settled for a beautiful Celestial Cosmetics 'Sesir Kipi'* and Sally Hansen 'Babe Blue'. I mixed them randomly with a white polish on my Uber Chic Mat and the result is this water marble-like pattern. Ok, perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself here. This clearly doesn't look ANYTHING like water marble but what else can I call this? Feel free to fire out any ideas!
I added a few arrow studs from shesellsseashells.co.uk and blue rhinestones I found on sale at Superdrug a hundred years ago. Here's a little close up.
Thought on this one? This is basically blue, mixed with blue, topped with a bit of blue! At least I'm sticking to the theme today...have a look at yesterday's 'green' prompt to find out what I'm talking about. See you tomorrow! Xx
Oh my gosh! I am in love with your rhinestone and stud mosaic. So pretty! I feel like the blue pattern still does resemble a stone type look. I'm not familiar enough with geology to know which rock it looks like, but I do think that it is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I wouldn't know that and I'm a graduate geographer lol! I'm so glad you like it though, thank you! X
