I couldn't really get in the spirit of Halloween this year. I think it must be the whole pumpkin thing. They are everywhere and they are orange and we all know how much I just LOVE that colour. So I decided to switch it up a bit and go for a gothic glam. Think long vintage necklaces and Morticia Addams' red claws!

Gothic Halloween Nail Art
I couldn't really get in the spirit of Halloween this year. I think it must be the whole pumpkin thing. They are everywhere and they are orange and we all know how much I just LOVE that colour. Hitched MeeBox: Nail Art and Review
What makes you feel like you've treated yourself? As I'm currently down with the flu, I have to say a massive pile of sweets is doing it for me! But what else? Some girls like to take a nice bath, have an online shopping session or have lunch with friends. And then some girls get MeeBox. If you got your hands on this month's 'Hitched'* themed box (and I know a few of my followers did because I'm a stalker;) then I think you'll agree that the MeeBox girls have outdone themselves this time! I couldn't believe my eyes as I kept pulling out treat after treat and my voice was getting strangely high pitched (I totally blame it on my sore throat).
Lace Over Metallic Gradient
Lace is the last Weekly Nail Art Challenge prompt for this month and I've decided to step out of my comfort zone. Ever since I've started this blog I have never incorporated a metallic silver polish. Even silver glitter only made an appearance a few times. I don't know why though, I have quite a few of them! I thought it was about time to change that.
Sheer Dotticure for Nail Spec
I realised that ever since I've started my nail art journey I only ever did one or two sheer designs. The truth is that I actually own quite a few jellies so I don't really know what's been stopping me! I've always liked the black sheer design so I decided to give it a go.
Oh yeah, remember when I said I had a few jellies in my stash? Well, it turns out black isn't one of them. Fantastic. What's a girl to do? I created my own tinted polish, of course!

I created this look for Nail Spec and you can easily achieve it in just four steps. All you need to do is follow my tutorial. There is something about this design that made me feel so chic! I think it's the whole sheer/lacey thing.

Hardly a gloomy matte(r)
This is one of those quick I'm-out-the-door-in-five kind of designs. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I liked it when I made it. It was delicate but 'gloomy', does that make sense? I think it works well as an Autumn design. However as I'm writing this I am in the most beautiful place on the planet and erm, Autumn-who? I've done these a few days before my trip. If you follow me on Instagram then you know I'm currently in New Zealand and although it's not been too warm so far the views are compensating BIG TIME. Also it's surprising how productive you can be during 12 hours long flights/waiting for your boyfriend to hire the car...
31 Day Challenge: Inspired by a movie
I took me forever to choose a film for today's challenge. I just couldn't decide! In the end I was scrolling through pictures on Google and got inspired by clothes that were featured in one of my favourite films 'Pride and Prejudice'. It was all about soft dusky colours, lace, ribbons and jewels!
31 Day Challenge: B&W
At first, these nails were meant to be just white with a black stamp. I knew I'd like them because I did the exact same design on my aunt's nails a few day ago. But then l started sorting out all my polishes, because frankly they were getting out of control, and spotted an OPI Sheer Tint I've never used. I always wanted to try this range but found it a bit pricey, until I spotted one at TKMaxx for £2.99 (bargain or what?!) and it got me thinking...
