Do you know what's the best day of the month? No, not pay day, it's when MeeBox lands on your door step! This time, the UK's favourite subscription box has an 80's vibe with funky bright polishes and sparkly nail art goodies. If you didn't get your hands on this one, you seriously missed out!

Ice Cream Nail Art Tutorial for Nail Spec
Do you know what I've been recently obsessed with? Toffee Cornettos. Seriously, I can't get enough! I am aware that my 'beach body' will not thank me for that but quite frankly, since summer decided not to show up this year, I officially decided not to give a crap.
VIDEO Nail Art Tutorials for Nail Spec
Hello there! Yeah, I'm still here. I've just been super busy preparing for my holidays and just about everything else so I had to have a little break from blogging. However I'm back with something quite exciting to show you. Over the past few months I've been trying my hand at video tutorials! I've done a few summer looks but my absolute favourite is this festival tie dye design.
ABC Challenge: G is for Glass Nails
Oh look, I'm late for another ABC Challenge. Whaaaat??! I know right, that's like, SOO out of character. I received this glass paper* from Born Pretty Store a while ago and since last week's prompt was the letter 'G' I decided it was time to test it out.
ABC Challenge: D is for Decals
I felt like it was about time to change things up, so my pointy claws are back! Well, they're not quite 'claws' yet but they'll get there. I just seriously didn't trust myself with square nails as they were getting long. It was so easy to snap the corners and, for whatever reason, they were constantly peeling. Annoying or what?!
Liz Earle Signature Blue | Swatch, Nail Art and Review
Today I want to show you a swatch and a bit of nail art that I've done using Liz Earle Signature Blue. However, I simply cannot talk about this polish without at least brushing up on the brand as a whole. I know there are a lot of Liz Earle fans out there but if you've never heard of it, it's 'a British beauty brand with many years in botanical expertise'. Their most iconic product has to be Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser which I've been using EVERYDAY for 2 years and I just can't be without it now!
Denim Nails for Nail Spec
If you look outside my window today you could totally believe you're in Spain. There's not a cloud in the sky and people are ACTUALLY wearing shorts. Makes you just want to get outside and explore! Or, if you're stuck indoors with flu, it makes you want to curse the unfair world, while you pop another antibiotic and settle down on the sofa with your trusted slanket.
How To: Water Decals Stripes
This past few weeks have been literally crazy hence why it's been a bit quiet here recently. The reason? Well, for most of it, I was visiting my family. Hardly an excuse? Ok then, try getting to your boyfriend's family who lives on the other side of the country on public transport and then fly home to visit your own family. While you're there, do just about everyone's nails in the 5 mile radius while catching a lovely virus. At the airport totally lose it once you find out your boyfriend printed out boarding passes from 2015. And when you finally land, still coughing and sneezing, learn that your coach is 2 hours late due to an accident on M1. I rest my case. Rant over!
And ok, I MIGHT have exaggerated slightly on one thing (or according to my boyfriend, all of them) when I said my boyfriend's family lives on the other side of the country. But in my defence everywhere seems far when you don't drive. There, hopefully my boyfriend's Gran (who reads my blog) won't have a go at me now!
Review | OPI New Orleans and Treatment Set
Today's post is a rather special one! I want to show you a birthday gift I got from my boyfriend. True, my birthday is not until the 29th of this month but there was this great offer on QVC so he went for it! I don't know how you feel about shopping channels but I was definitely sceptical at first. Long story short, I am now ordering my favourite skincare brand through it and the best thing about is that if you don't like what you've ordered you can send it back. I can tell you now that this set is definitely not going anywhere!
Pretty & Polished | Heart of the Ocean + Nautical Nail Art
Today I want to show you yet another gorgeous polish that has been sitting on my shelf for a while and it's an absolute stunner! This is Pretty&Polished and it's aptly named 'Heart of the Ocean'. It's a blue jelly with lots of larger and smaller metallic blue glitter pieces. It's my first ever polish from this company so I wasn't sure what to expect but just look at how beautiful it is!
Danglefoot Polish | Holo Jellies And How To Use Them In Nail Art
I have only recently discovered my love for jelly polish and what opportunities it presents to a nail art lover. Sheer hosiery design on your nails? I'm in! So as you can imagine when I was contacted by Hayley from Danglefoot Polish about reviewing her jelly range I was super excited!
Leopard Half Moon for Nail Spec
Can you believe it's already February? I'm so glad January is over now! I thought January was supposed to about the hope and excitement for what's to come this year and all that stuff. Um, initially, perhaps. From where I was standing it was cold, my dry skin hated me and I still felt the need to turn the lights on at 1pm. Yes, a perfect time to give you that boost and hold on to your New Years resolutions. I know, I know, any more positivity and I might burst!
Ruffian Design with Models Own Duo
The bright madness continues! I haven't done a ruffian design in ages so I came up with this vivid duo. I then proceeded to wear it to a job interview. It was appropriate for the position, I promise. But as a rule of thumb, try to avoid bright blue for any formal meetings!

31 Day Challenge: Violet
31 Day Challenge: Yellow
Remember when I said that I wasn't going to try anything too complicated just yet for the 31 Day Challenge? Well, today I kind of did! The 3rd day's theme is yellow and I was more than happy to try out Nails Inc Seven Dials that I found in my recent Nalibox. It's a warm yellow, opaque in 2 thick coats. I really like the new brush that Nails Inc introduced. It's curved, not square and it's so much easier to get a perfect line around my cuticles. I added some rectangular studs I got from Amazon.co.uk.
Practice makes perfect...right?!

Manicure Makeover vol.4
The final stage of Manicure Makeover is finally here! So far we've had sponging, stamping and striping. For this stage I've decided to combine stamping and striping as opposed to adding a new technique. I think it might have been OOT otherwise. This is the same stamp from MoYou London Pro 11 that I used in the second picture. I sectioned off a bit of my nail with sellotape, added a stamp and finished it off with another stripe. There, now I really like it and my boyfriend even went as far as saying it's his favourite mani ever!
Manicure Makeover vol.3
I have to say I was really pleased with my previous design and I didn't want to ruin it by adding too much. After a while I thought something small and delicate would do. I settled for a simple stripe running through the middle. I used Essence 46 Black is Black and Ciate Knickerbockerglory. What do you think? It may not be the most dramatic change from the last design but I think it's one of those that goes with literally everything you might want to add later!
