Have you found yourself thinking: why is her hand so tanned all of a sudden? Don't worry, I didn't have an unfortunate self tan incident. I mean, what, that would just be weird...I NEVER had one of those...<nervous laugh>. No seriously, the reason why my hand is browner than usual is because I made this manicure in July. See, a perfectly good explanation. And not weird AT ALL.

31 Day Challenge: Metallic
I will never ever crack horizontal lines. NEVER! Every time I try it's such a fail I can't even..anyway. This design was inspired by Paulina's Passions. Her design was totally cute and neat and it lured me into a false sense of security. There I was, thinking I can totally pull that off and failed miserably!
Manicure Makeover
This was a little challenge I set out for myself and it was actually a real fun one. I first saw this done by the talented cubbiful and couldn't wait to give it a go. Basically I wanted to see if I could 'recycle' my manicure over and over again by adding bits and bobs and essentially making it more interesting without having to make a new design. I really feel like this is a great idea if, like me, you get bored with most designs after wearing them for a few days. This is seriously the story of my life! If I make the most gorgeous mani I'm thinking, OMG, I'm never ever taking it off! In reality, that hype only lasts...maybe 2 days? I haven't had much time to create anything new recently and this is a great idea to refresh and maybe even completely change an old manicure.
This is my 'base' that I started with. I love, love, love this pink by Miss Sporty! I think it works so well with my skin tone and it's just the perfect coral pink. I wanted to add similar colours to go with it so I sponged NYC Melon Milkshake, 2true shade 26, Golden Rose Rich Color 103 and Ciate Knickerbockerglory all at random. I used a small piece of bath sponge to do that. It's not perfectly blended but I kinda like the messiness of it!
Pink Overload
I was feeling a bit uninspired so I thought it was time to try something new! I thought blobbicure would to be quick and easy. Well you definitely have to be quick!
Something sweet featuring BPS pearls review
I was super lucky when I went to my local Superdrug recently! They had a clearance section and most of it was nails stuff, yay! I obviously stocked up on all sorts because quite frankly no matter how many wraps, studs and stickers I may have, how can I not buy more if they are freaking 49p?! This is where I got the rhinestones that I used for this manicure. I also used a few different sizes of pearls* from bornprettystore.com.
Match made in heaven
Pastels and bling is like a match made in heaven for me. There is just something so glamorous and sophisticated about it!
Pure Euphoria Swatches and Review
Do you know what is the worst thing that could happen when you want to try polishes sent to you for a review? A nasty flu. A flu? C'mon it's just painting nails, stop being such a wimp and get on with it! Well all those kind words of encouragement are trully awesome however if you want to review FRAGARANT polishes and you have tissues stuck up your nose for two weeks...well you're in a bit of a pickle aren't you!? Thankfully my flu is pretty much gone now so I can get back to blogging and my life really.
Pure Euphoria is australian company producing nail polishes infused with essential oils, vegan, 5 free and fragrant when dry. Every polish in the range is also supposed to target different emotions with the essential oils to help you relax, boost energy, ease anger, grow confidence and so on. Let's look at the polishes then, shall we?

Candy crush!
I've recently colour coded all my polishes and realised I own at least 5 identical reds. It also turned out I have varnishes that have never even been opened! What a muppet! And this is how or rather why this mani happened. I realised that recently I've limited myself mostly to a winter/festive palette. So here is very cute, very unwintery, pastel cupcake design. And what ya gonna do?! ;)
Water(fall) Closet
This is the first time I decided to publish a waterfall design. Let me tell you now that if you've found yourself struggling with this design don't give up. My first attempts...OMG, I don't even want to think back to the nerves, tears and blaming the entire world for my less than perfect attempt. Try a different brush or a set of different colours or just give it a rest for a few days (months in my case). Or do what worked best for me in the end: pull your finger out! :p
The base colour for all the nails in Golden Rose Rich Color 135. When I picked it up in the shop I thought it was black but it's actually a really dark purple (although after 2 coats it looks black anyway). The colours I used for the waterfall effect are Bourjois Paris 12 Rouge Obscur, Golden Rose Color Expert 87, Orly Harmonious Mess, Miss Selene 259, OPI Samba-dy Loves Purple, Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 102. To apply the colours I used a striping brush that I got cheap online. It's not the best but I can handle it better now that my hands are a bit more experienced with brushes in general. Anyway I already ordered a nice set of brushes and just can't wait to use them! I finished off with a coat of Seche Vite which made the design super glossy and very hard to picture without my light box which I had to leave at home. I still like it though and hope you do too!
Starry night
On New Year's Eve everybody's eyes are fixed on the skies. No wonder, a starry sky on a (hopefully) cloudless night is an AMAZING sight...and you probably focus mostly on the fireworks. If that's the case you are seriously missing out! I was lucky enough to be raised in the countryside but now I live in a city and really miss the night views! I didn't really feel like party nails after all the Crimbo festivities so here is a pinky starry night design instead.
Missing the Sun
Finally after days of fog, rain and cold today's weather is actually not bad! It's sunny and sky's clear...well the tiny bit of sky I can see from my AMAZINGLY situated flat. Anyway my point is the weather was seriously bringing me down and today it feels like spring so I decided to do a spring design featuring pinky glitter and birds.
Practice Your Patience. WHAT?!!?
I don't know what colour do you associate with autumn but for me it's violet or purple. Which also happen to be my favourite colours in everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. Whenever I'm having a day off painting nails (!) or don't feel like bothering with a design (!) I put one colour (!) on my nails and it's always purple. But don't worry today is not one of those days. I finally decided to use my favourite colours in my design. I mean honestly if you saw my varnishes case you'd know I have A LOT of purple there. So imagine my joy to finally use them! That is until I realised most have gone dry...so I got...frustrated, So you're thinking just go buy some more, problem solved! And you're right...but that means I can't do my nails right now, right this second and did you come across my blog name? Patience is not a virtue in my book. In fact, it doesn't exist!
Still, I used whatever I could salvage out of my 35734672543533435 purple/pinky/violet varnishes and this is the result!
Scribbles Scribbles...
Isn't typing amazing? Thanks to typing no one literate has a problem reading this post not to mention seeing my embarrassingly bad handwriting. Times when I did calligraphy at school are long gone. If I was however using my hand writing it would resemble something like this:
However for this look I used MoYou London stamping plates. I know, I OBVIOUSLY almost fooled you.
