Simple Nail Art Featuring Chrome Striping Tape

nude nail art metallic tape minimalistic furious filer

If you've been with me for a while then you know that striping tape is pretty much the reason there's a word 'furious' in my blog's name. It's just so fiddly and I can't even remember the last time I used it! Having said that...a striping tape that is metallic AND doesn't need to be removed? Um, OK then.

31 Day Challenge: Green Nails

Man, I am bending the rules of this challenge big time! But hey, does it have green it in? Yes, it does so my conscience is totally clean!

How to: Decals on the Uber Chic Mat

I have recently realised I am super behind with so many reviews so today's post will feature some stencils that Born Pretty Store sent me about 5 thousand years ago. They are meant to be applied directly onto the nail but I decided to try it out with my Uber Chic Mat and create decals. It was so much easier than I thought it would be! I also added a little step by step guide. I explain it all below.

ABC Challenge: H is for Holo

If you're wondering why you're seeing another ABC Challenge post for the second time this week, there's an explanation. My time management has been seriously crap. Um, yeah, that's all I've got I'm afraid. Quick, let's have a look at today's design, I can feel the awkward silence creeping in!

Tribal Design Featuring BPS Water Decals

It's been a bit quiet here recently but trust me when I say I've not been doing sweet bugger all! I have been playing around with water decals because I am absolutely obsessed! I think a lot of girls find them boring but I found that it's ridiculous just how many looks you can create with even the simplest water decals. I'll be sharing them with you soon but for now here is a tribal design I've done using water decals*  from bornprettystore.com.

BPS | Qgirl-057 Stamping Plate

born pretty store qgirl-057 stamping plate review nails

Today I want to share with you my thoughts on the Qgirl-057 stamping plate* I have recently received from Bornprettystore.com. There are four designs on the plate, two delicate florals and two slightly more crowded damask patterns. I don't actually own any plates with subtle patterns so I was really excited to try this one out. Although the round plates are usually quite small, all four stamps were big enough to cover my long nails.

BPS | Clear Stamper Review and Nail Art

If you follow this blog then you will know I am quite keen on stamping. I've found the type of stamper that works for me, the stamping polishes that transfer the designs nicely onto my nails and the plates that make picking up a pattern easy. My stamping journey is complete, right? Nope. As soon as my package from bornprettystore.com arrived I couldn't wait to whip out my clear stamper* and give it a go. I am now seriously questioning how have I ever stamped without it!

F.U.N. Lacquer Diamond Holo Top Coat: Swatches + Review

I often find myself thinking do I REALLY need another bottle of polish? And the answer is pretty much always, um, yeah? This is a nail art blog, what did you expect?! But even though I think: yes, sometimes the entire universe (my bank balance) screams: no! The problem is that I really want to try more holographic polishes because I only own a few. However I had this idea that if I get a holographic top coat I can make ANY polish look holo. Get in! And when I say it was my idea, it was actually my boyfriend's idea...um, I'll just leave it there.

Lace Over Metallic Gradient

Lace is the last Weekly Nail Art Challenge prompt for this month and I've decided to step out of my comfort zone. Ever since I've started this blog I have never incorporated a metallic silver polish. Even silver glitter only made an appearance a few times. I don't know why though, I have quite a few of them! I thought it was about time to change that.

Ruffian Design with Models Own Duo

The bright madness continues! I haven't done a ruffian design in ages so I came up with this vivid duo. I then proceeded to wear it to a job interview. It was appropriate for the position, I promise. But as a rule of thumb, try to avoid bright blue for any formal meetings!

Glitz n Glam

When you think about the fact that just last month most of us were all about red polish, one would assume it's the last colour you want to be reaching for in January. But when it's cold outside and you're starting to question whether you're JUST bloated post-Crimbo feast, you need something to cheer you up! And this Golden Rose red does exactly that for me.

Fireworks for New Year's Eve? Erm, Holo?!

What I can't understand is why do we celebrate New Year's Eve in such close proximity to Christmas. The fridge is STILL packed full of leftovers and it is very likely that I've gained a stone in the past week. Oh and I'm supposed to wear a bodycon dress tonight. Fantastic.

OK so New Year's Eve might not be my thing but I tell you what is, fireworks! I might resemble a balloon tonight but at least my nails are 'fit' for the occasion;)

Born Pretty Store Water Decals Review

Sometimes I like to stick to the current trends and do themed designs. A good example would be Christmas. It's coming soon and I will bombard you with festive designs, so prepare yourself! But today is not that day...yet:p. In the meantime, how about some pastel green nails?

31 Day Challenge: Watermarble

#31dc2015 watermarble delicate sweet pearls 3d

Water marble used to be my idea of hell. I say, used to, because I was desperately trying to make this technique work for me and I think I finally got it! I haven't tried watermarble in a very very long time so anything could have happened today. I think the only way to ensure I was taking part in today's challenge was to be smart about it and play to my strengths! I think it worked well and I'm so in love with this design! So here are a few tricks I used...

31 Day Challenge: Delicate Print

For some time now I have been seriously digging the whole delicate nail art thing. It might remind you of spring in which case you'd be thinking that I have some serious issues. Let me explain! During this time of year for me it's all about knitted soft jumpers, fluffy socks, a cup of camomile/raspberry/mint/lemon (circle the appropriate) tea and snuggles on the sofa. Actually, scratch that last one. I'm currently sitting on the WORST sofa ever! I'm awaiting a delivery of a brand new one but until then, no snuggles...even sitting on it is fairly risky! So what could complement all of this? A nice delicate mani! Or a speedy delivery? Just a thought.

I'm daring to go nude!

Yes, I totally stole that line from a recent make up advert! Nude colours are not really my thing but recently I bought Golden Rose Color Expert 101 and I really wanted to use it. It's so creamy and gorgeous. I was going to leave it as a swatch but then I thought...naaah, I need to add something! I decided on MoYou London stamp and these delicate triangles* from bornprettystore.com

Something sweet featuring BPS pearls review

I was super lucky when I went to my local Superdrug recently! They had a clearance section and most of it was nails stuff, yay! I obviously stocked up on all sorts because quite frankly no matter how many wraps, studs and stickers I may have, how can I not buy more if they are freaking 49p?! This is where I got the rhinestones that I used for this manicure. I also used a few different sizes of pearls* from bornprettystore.com.

I am so excited to show you my floral vintage design, I feel like it's one of those I'm never going to want to take off. Well, for a few days anyway! The flower water decals really make this design pop and were so easy to use.

Born Pretty Store Mixed Arabesque Stamping Plate Review

Today I'd like to review this funky mixed arabesque stamping plate provided to me as a free sample from Bornprettystore.com. My inspiration for this design were drawings I saw when I visited Capitol Reef National Park, UT, which btw is a beautiful part of the world that I really want to see again!
